START WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE

More than a database.
A body of knowledge.

Useful datasets can take many forms. These are starting points for a conversation; suitability depends on the asset, its rights, and the buyer’s current needs.

01 / TECHNICAL

The answers your team built

Company-owned manuals, troubleshooting guides, engineering documentation and maintenance knowledge.

02 / EXPERTISE

The knowledge you teach

Original courses, worked examples, assessments and specialist reference material.

03 / RESEARCH

The history you’ve kept

Owned research archives, longitudinal datasets, taxonomies and carefully maintained annotations.

04 / MEDIA

The library you created

Original footage, images, audio, transcripts and the metadata that makes them useful.

A PRACTICAL PATH FORWARD

Understand the opportunity.
Keep control of the decision.

  1. 1

    Describe the asset

Tell us what exists, roughly how much you have, and who controls it. High-level information only.

  2. 2

    Build a useful data profile

We review the description, identify readiness questions, and work out whether a supplier conversation makes sense.

  3. 3

    Choose the next step

Where there’s a plausible fit, discuss rights, scope and a potential buyer introduction. Sharing and commercial terms require a separate agreement.

Robert Masiello leads supplier discussions and handles commercial next steps.

BEFORE YOU START

Good questions.
Straight answers.

What could the data be worth?

There is no reliable valuation from a description alone. Value depends on buyer needs, rights, uniqueness, quality, usable scope and negotiated terms. We do not promise an offer or payment.

Which AI company is involved?

Dealport is sourcing supplier conversations for AI data licensing opportunities. We discuss the appropriate buyer and any disclosure restrictions directly before a proposed introduction. This page does not imply an exclusive mandate or endorsement from a lab.

Do we need to send our files?

No. Start with metadata: a plain description of what exists. Do not submit raw datasets, customer documents, credentials, personal records or trade secrets through this form.

What if our data includes customer information?

Flag the issue without sharing the information itself. Rights, privacy and customer obligations need review before any sample or licensing discussion. Removing names alone may not resolve those obligations.

Will we lose ownership or agree to exclusivity?

This inquiry grants no rights and creates no exclusivity. Any future license would need to define permitted uses, restrictions, duration, payment and other terms separately.

What does Dealport do?

We organize the supplier conversation, help describe the asset, surface readiness questions, and coordinate potential next steps where appropriate. Buyer interest, introductions and transaction terms are conditional. Any fees or referral compensation will be disclosed in a later commercial discussion before a commitment.
